Dr. Karen Holtmaat
After the studies psychology and religious studies (both completed cum laude) Karen started working in 2012 as a researcher in the group ‘Living together with cancer’. Karen obtained her doctorate in 2020 based on a randomized controlled trial on the efficacy of a psychological training aimed at meaning-making in cancer survivors.
Currently she is working as assistant professor for the research group.
Karen defended her PhD thesis on November 30, 2020
